Awards presented to students for outstanding academic achievements and professional promise.

Special Library  Legislation Commemorative Awards will be presented this year to students who have written the best paper or developed the best Web site on topics related to LSA, federal funding for libraries, Alabama’s contributions to the enactment of legislation benefiting libraries and education or case studies of how Alabama’s libraries have benefited from federal support.

Special guest:  Lenora Elliott Cannon will present the Library legislation commemorative awards

Guest speaker:  Mary Jolley, LSA, NDEA, and Carl Elliott's legacy to education (Ms. Jolley will also speak at the afternoon program, see below)
